Artist Bio:

Ivana Milojevic Beck graduated in May of 2016 from UNCG with a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art. Beck was awarded the International Sculpture Center’s Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award in 2016. Her art has received numerous awards and accolades in the years since. Born in Serbia and moving to the United States as a young adult, her work addresses how her cultural, social, and psychological foundations have shifted since she left her home, family, and friends. Currently, Ivana teaches art at Wake Technical Community College and is a member of the artist group-CMAC (City Artist Market Collective) located in downtown Raleigh, NC. Most recently Beck’s sculptural work has been published in the book “Art of The State: Celebrating the Visual Art of North Carolina” by Liza Roberts.
