Ep. 123: Art Evolution and Social Media Growth with Anna Price

On this episode we interview Australian visual artist, Anna Price. We talk about balancing multiple art styles, generating new income streams with art products, navigating commissions, having a studio outside of the home, and cultivating an audience on social media.

Anna Price

Artist  | Sydney, Australia

Artist Bio:

Anna Price is a Sydney-based Interior Designer turned artist in 2019. As a mother of 4, Price did her first painting out of a desire to escape from her screen-based work, and to obtain affordable artwork for her new home.

She paints intuitively, unscripted and untrained. Her work draws on her creative intelligence to come up with multiple styles of busy abstract expressionist and geometric style artworks that are predominantly large scale and involve huge amounts of bold color. Her inspiration comes from repetition, scale, her surrounding environments, and children's literature.

Today Anna has turned her side hobby into a multifaceted art business. She has a public studio gallery (right outside of Sydney Australia) where she produces and releases original artworks each month, maintains an online custom-print store with over 100 fine-art prints, and a growing clothing label, AP.art The Label.
