Cynthia Deis

ArtSwell Education Director at Triangle ArtWorks

About Cynthia:

Cynthia is the ArtSwell Education Director at Triangle ArtWorks, a nonprofit organization created to support artists and art organizations in our area. She is also involved with SMASH, the premier networking event in the Triangle for artists and art professionals.

From professional development courses to resource directories, Triangle Artworks’ programs and services are created to help artists and art organizations navigate the business of art.

Personally, Cynthia believes that learning something new is always a good use of time.

She is an engaging educator and communicator who is passionate about helping artists, independent retailers and creative non-profits, make the biggest impact with their business and in their communities.

Cynthia has spent two decades creating spaces, events and experiences that make people smile – always centered around crafts, the arts, and the sciences. She prefers solutions and action to endless info-gathering and she will push you towards your goals with excitement (and an eye for details).
