Artist Bio:

My degree in Design Studies from the N.C. State College of Design has given me a unique perspective, grounding my work as a studio potter in the craft origins of design. This rich history introduced me to the maker/designer's legacy of functional beauty. I integrate this values-driven approach into my studio practice and business.

Post-college, I transitioned to a community studio practice, then established my current private studio, where I've been working for ten years adjacent to downtown Raleigh. My work is an ongoing meditation on fun and functional pottery. I combine process and decoration to make thoughtful, expressive wares that bring home to you.
